Beauty of Mathematical Curiousity

Once there was a girl who thought math was pretty, and wanted to program her own games. This is her story.

Unfortunatly for her, one of her setbacks was impatience.

In this story, I lay the groundwork for a brighter tomorrow. I have prepared a basic home for my thoughts, and filled it with bright, cheery colors which hopefully don't look too awful. I have neglected spell checking, but everything looks okay. If I've misspelled something please correct me. I don't approve of careless spelling errors any more than lazy capitalization and punctuation.

Thank you with the color suggestion! I will probably want more specific help when I'm done screwing up the layout. I'll probably switch to greyscale (though not stark black and white like my sandbox) while I move forward with the layout stuff. I'd like suggestions for a better title too - mine seems a bit... um... bad. But I felt like it was more useful to have a poorly named and colored blog than none at all.

I'm desperately craving some advanced tutorials. I don't need much basic stuff, because with a little in-context use and good documentation I can figure it out ok, but I often feel like I'm stuck at a complexity plateau. So I've decided that my goal is to finally succeed at making a game (even if it's very crude) worthy of telling a story with, and all the while post here about my thoughts, progress, failures, and all, so that when it's all said and done the result is a guide to actually creating something that takes more than just an hour or two. Pray for me.

I'm looking for something that I have arbitrarily decided to call "Beyond Hello World". Something for people with programing experience who are not stopped by the hurdle of learning a new language, but have never created something sizable on their own.

P.S. I hate browsers that underline my misspellings in red. It's so distracting that I tend to loose my train of thought. Sadly, it's also kind of a problem to spell check text mixed with html. I just never make life easy on myself.
